Chicago Air & Water Show Aug 15 and 16

Hey guys. I'm sure some of you might have heard about this show at some point in the past.
It's happening this weekend, I'm not surer what if I'm going. If I was to make it to a show it would probably be on Saturday since I'm heading to WI.

Show goes from 10am to 4pm.

I used to work at a dealer right at the heart of down town close to the water tower and i used to love been at the very top of our building just watching the practice runs going a week before the event. they used to get really close to the skyscrapers!

Yea my grandma used to live downtown. I loved watching the planes fly by. But I'm gonna have to miss it this year, I'm kind of pissed but ill catch it next year. Besides the crowds are crazy anyway

I'm about to leave for the lake in about an hour. Hope some of you catch it tomorrow if not today

I'm going down tomorrow, taking the train. It's going to be a substantial pain in my ass to lug my kid and wife down there and walk allover sweating my balls off.

I lost track. Is it the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds this year? I miss the days when the Angels would fly out of Glenview Naval Air Station. I'd catch them every other year, parked on the gravel shoulder on Lehigh. Having them fly over you so close in formation was such a rush!
