That would be cool if we could have Maxus 2007 in Chicago.
I'd definantly help out too, but I can't dedicate most of my time to it tho, cuz i have a full time job.

out of curiosity, do they let other cars than maximas to show up? I'm guessing if they do, they throw those cars to the side?

We will start our own ALTIMUS show.
We will start our own ALTIMUS show.
No, you can't have a similar name as Maxus, gotta pick something different. :nutkick: Like Altima, Maxima's Little Brother National meet. :p

I saw a lil of the thread. To tell you the truth Prinz would be better at heading something like this, with some of our help. I can get people together, Prinz can book places, and knows how to arrange for things. I don't know if it's official, but if you see the thread Prinz is already trying to come up with ideas for here. However, the DC guys want it to be there.....my understanding is that the largest Maxima meet ever was held in that area.

It'll be great having it here, and it's kind of central part of US. just a little north. Plus a great city, but I was reading the thread on the org, and it seemed like they were going away from it. so on so forth.

they are backing out because nobody here is taking charge.

I thought Prinz was all over it along with Slimer, and such.......

not from what I understood from the thread :(

wait, I heaven't finished reading the thread...so they were waiting for us as in anyone from this forum to jump in and say they will organize everything?
I'd say we all chip in one or another. Someone does the autox/roadcourse, which seems like Bejay could hook it up. I may do the dragracing event, and someone else does the carshow/get together.

See that's the easiest part... I think. The hardest part is that these guys actually set up hotel specials too for out of towners......along with a meet at a Nissan dealership. The biggest headache is getting an accurate number of people showing for any event/reservations.

a couple of phone calls should be able to set up hotel deals.
Walec should set up the meet at his dealership

Easier said then done.....I read some of the previous Maxus meet threads and they didn't go as plannned............ :(

i would love to set this up at my dealership, but the way the service manager and other managers are....there would be now way possible to throw something like this there. id also like to take some charge and help organize this, but i have too little time on my hands. sorry guys.
Looks like I might end up being the one to setup Maxus 07 involuntarily. I seriously need some help here.

As I stated on the thread on the org, I would be glad to help out and/or provide any necessary assistance. I have made some suggestions but no one is giving me any feedback as to whether the ideas are feasible or not which leads me to believe that no one is interested in what I am suggesting.

I just saw your post on the org Prinz. I'd be happy to help out with any detailing info/demos that might prove to be of value.
I'd also suggest that any info that is posted here also be put on the org so people outside the Midwest/Chicago know what's going on. If that's not done national interest in Maxus 2007 will certainly drop off.

It would be a good idea for someone to be in charge of doing this...
