Don't worry Ty...I'm very skeptical to opinions. I have seen what Zaino can do. I have also seen what Klasse can do. I still want to see first hand experience as to what each wax/polish can do. Opinions are fine, but experience is better........ :)
If you don't mind, maybe wer can do my car later. Of course, I will help........
You bet. My sister bought me more Zaino products for my birthday so I've got a ton of it just sitting around.

Synthetic sealant that lasts for about six months. I've been using it for awhile now (2+ yrs) and have yet to find a product that can match it for durability and reflection. Unlike most waxes (that contain cleaners), Zaino actually builds layers on itself with each subsequent application. It's also very easy to apply. Unlike most waxes, you want to apply as little as possible and do multiple coats.

Ty we need to try doing this on my Max maybe next weekend or something. Do you use a buffer ? I can bring a nice buffer in from work with a foam pad, should speed up the whole job. U have been telling me to swing by all this time, I just haven't had the time to do this. Driving around here n there, bussy with work etc.... just couldn't make it.

Nah, I do it all by hand. Bring your Max any time and I'll go insano-Zaino on it. Here's what I'd do to your car:
1) Wash twice w/ Dawn
2) Claybar
3) Wash with Zaino soap
4) ZPC
5) Z2
6) Z6
7) Repeat steps 5 & 6 twice
8) Grand Finale
It takes about eight hours but it's worth it.
What I do:
1. Wash with Dawn dish soap to remove all traces of wax
2. Use a clay bar to remove surface contaminants
2a. Spray a section of the car with lubricant (can be Dawn mixed with water in a spray
bottle)
2b. Gently rub the clay bar over the lubricated section
2c. The clay bar will “pull” the contaminants out
2d. The section is clean when you no longer feel any resistance as you move the clay bar
2e. As the clay bar decontaminates the paint, it will become dirtier, requiring you to
stretch it out and fold it on itself to expose new, clean clay
2i. You MUST do this otherwise as you rub the clay bar, you will drive the
contaminants back into the paint
3. Wash again but this time, with Z7 soap
4. Dry with a waffle-weave, microfiber towel; I use four to do the Maxima
5. Shake the bottle of Z2 and squeeze it into the smaller, mixing bottle, filling it 1/3-1/4 full (1/4 full is enough to do four coats on the Maxima)
5a. Do not use any old Z2 that has been treated with ZFX
6. Add four drops of ZFX (blue liquid in a small vial) to the mixing bottle
6a. ZFX allows the Z2 to cure faster (fifteen minutes versus an hour)
7. Shake the mixing bottle for a minute or two and be sure to shake it in different directions
8. Apply a small amount of Z2 (treated with ZFX) to a cotton applicator (preferably a pad)
8a. No larger than a dime otherwise, it will be absorbed into the pad and be wasted
9. Choose a section of the car to work on
9a. Zaino is very different from carnuba waxes and you must keep the following in mind:
9i. Rub the pad in horizontal or vertical motions, NOT circular
9ii. Your goal is to apply the thinnest coat possible
9iii. When properly applied, there will be a very light haze, if any at all
10. Do the rest of the car and apply a little extra Z2 to any blemishes
11. Allow 15 minutes for the Z2 to fully cure
12. Remove the dried Z2 with a cotton towel
13. Mist a section of the car with Z6 and dry it using a different cotton towel; repeat until the entire car is done
13a. If the Z6 dries before you wipe it off, spray the area again and wipe
14. Repeat Steps 8-13; I typically put four coats on at a time
15. For best results, apply a coat of Z2 that has not been combined with ZFX and leave it on overnight; remove and follow with Step 13
16. When washing but not sealing, spray the car with Z6 after being washed with Z7; it will restore the gloss and “wet” look
Lately, I've been opting to not use ZFX because I apply the sealant in the hot sun which causes the sealant to cure just as fast as though I had used ZFX

I'm sure the job can be cut in half if you have a couple of people helping you Ty. More since you do it by hand....you don't have to wait the machine like I do. I'll be down to help ya.

wow, thats alot of work for that type of wax, but its gonna be super worth it. and it will show really nice, since mike has a darker car and reflections will show really nice.

Well, there's about a total of 15 min. of wait time w/ each coat of sealant. If there were a couple people doing the job, I'd actually suggest doing two cars at a time. Seal "Car A" and use the time spent sealing "Car B" to allow "Car A" to cure. As you remove the layer on "Car A" and spray it down with Z6/Grand Finale, "Car B" can cure. So in four hours, you'd end up with two beautiful cars.

I don't have a OEM hood, I have had my current VIS CF on my car for over 2 years now, and previous to that I had that Custom Maxima KRAP on my car for a year.

If I ever get new paint Zaino is all it will see. Until then, it's a waste on my imperfect, scratch that, incredibly flawed and damaged, paint.
