hey guys my mom needs a new tire cuz one of hers blew, do i need to replace both tires? i threw the spare on the rear and put the rear rim up front since i read somewhere before that it was bad for the car to have the spare in the front. well basically i need recommendations on all season tires... right now she is runnning on toyo proxes TPT or something like that, size is 225/50/17

just go with some simple all season toyo again. they are not too expensive and she will get just about the same thread design.

oh, and i do reccomend getting two new tires instead of one.

1. you are better off with spare on the rear because of size difference between spare and stock tire.
2. put the new tires on the rear.

yeah, I've witnessed a few spare blowouts already, not fun even at low speeds.

ya, driving on a spare is a no no. even if its for a lil while.

werd tell that to a buddy of mine... no joke that jerk has been on a spare for 8 months..... yea 8 months he drives on the highway with it also.... its terrible...

hmm... i drove on the spare (on driver side front) from cicero/foster to my house on harlem/foster... left it alone until i got the new rim...

ya, spares are no joke. i have seen people drive on them and take turns like and indy drive and have the spare fly off.
