Well the front bumper of my I30 is in rough shape, there is several spots and specs of dirt and bugs that I cannot seem to get out, I am sure there are paint chips in the mix as well. I have tried to wash it down and use the clay bar and it made it smooth and removed some of the problem, but most of it is still there. Any ideas on how to take care of this? Unfortunatly the person I bought the vehicle from didnt seem to take much care of it!
Here are some pictures for reference!

Light cut rubbing compound with either a rotary or a Porter Cable can get that cleaned up a lil bit. However, it looks like you have quite a few rock chips. I have some free time this coming Saturday, need anything done? :naughty:

I just had some chips touched up at Carnica in Des plaines on Oakton.
Did great work, fast and cheap.

Have Hector do the rubbing compound and buff it out, he is good, and then take it to Carnica or some other place to touch it up, unless Hector can do that as well.

Hec, I will have to get in touch w/ you sometime soon for a good detailing, the last weekends have been filled w/ trying to get my car to a decent level of respect and taking care of the new baby. To me the rock chips and the bugs/guts/crap looks to be the same, so I dont know where to start.. Looks like it will have to get repainted.

Re-paint it and put the clear-bra on or just regular bra to protect.

That bug stuff is just about impossible to get off. My wife's Camry (burgundy color) has a ton of them. I've tried everything and they are still there.
If they can be removed, please let me know how you did it.
Sam....good to see you're back in the Nissan Family!!

Thanks man, it was a nice truck to look at, but that was about it. The driveability, comfort and features were crap, especially for the price. I am happy I got rid of it as easily as I did!

It is just the I30. But I will probably be purchasing a spoiler for it soon.

did you guys ever get that shit off? my friend got the same shit on his civic and i tried to clay bar it and it just made it more shallow but it's whiter. I'm thinking buffing it and it'll come out.
