ya, i saw this on another site,

and it seems like the maxima did keep up pretty good with the evo. i bet the evo was stock. you know they run low 13's stock. so the maxima has some pick up and go.

what you guys think?

That Maxima must be pretty weak.... Ive ran a few stock EVOs from 65MPH roll ons on RT53 and never had this problem. At about 110MPH I am walking away from em pretty good. I didnt run a MR, but the last EVO I ran had a BOV and exhaust of some kind and he couldnt keep up at 100MPH plus MPH. I would love to run that Turbo Maxima. It doesnt seem impressive at all, especially since EVOs are a 100-102MPH trapping cars.

nahh that TT one is about as fast as a Geo Metro missing on 1 cylinder.

thats cuz lancers are toast on the highway.. they are good for a launch and thats about it.. until u boost higher

Lancers actually do pretty good on the highway, they have enough power to keep up with some high powered cars more than you think. Audis are the ones who just suck on the highway, I got spanked by a Spec V with bolt ons while I was driving a stock 01 S4 home one night few years ago.

Anything with close to 300HP will do pretty good on the highway, you would be supprised how fast the Titan is on the highway !

They are racing? ... I thought they were just cruising around seeing how they keep going back and forth with the lead...

Its not the boost that kills there topend, its the AWD. Sure more boost will give them more power but that AWD will still hold them back.

Dont know about all that my buddies Evo got up to 150 pretty quickly and that was just with minor mods
