so dillema--ksports or spring/shock setup? i figure the spring/shock setup would be roughly $650--150 or less for springs, about 400$for shocks/struts, 100$ for chamberkit. on the other hand, ksports are going for roughly 850$. the 200$ isnt that big of a deal, but id rather save it if it came down to it.
seeing as the ride is 10yrs old and has about 120k miles, is it really worth it to spend that extra 200$ on the ksports? and i know duck had some issues w/in a year, which they did promptly take care of. but hassle is hassle. plus, i wouldnt be installing it, unless somebody wanted to lend me a hand. is the ride THAT much better on coilovers vs. a combo? i was lookin at a drop that would give me around 2.0", slightly more. i just got 18s off the 350z so it want it to look good for that.
since im outta the country, and only come back every 4months, i would just buy the parts now and slap them on later. i dont plan on putting anything on until im back in the states for good this Dec. :knight:

why you out of the country for so long? also i am more than happy to help ya out install the ksports, and/or spring/struts, and im sure there are other members that will help out also
the ksports are a pretty rough ride, so unless you can deal with it.. ionno...
spring struts you will get a better ride but less performance, if you are looking for just a drop go with spring/strut, i like coilovers cuz i can adjust the ride height if i wanted to.

Think about a couple of things first. Are you looking for more performance or more comfort. Any drop will make your car stiffer period. Also think about how much longer you're going to keep the max around. If you think you will part with it sooner then just get a spring/strut combo. Another thing, I would not drop the car any more than 1.8". I can honestly say I'm happy with the height of my car. Dropping the car doesn't guarantee your car being lower especially if you have bigger rims. A lip will finish the look, a drop will just lower the wheel gap with big rims.....

equal between the both, don't want anything too stiff but any drop will get you a performance gain since you're closer to the center of gravity hight. just something that won't like make me get a headach after i drive it

my ride right now is bouncy as crap. u can push down on the rear and it will bounce for, no joke, 38.45 seconds. ask dave and duck, they were laughing their azzes off at THT's house!
imma keep the max for at least another 4yrs.
i want the ride to stiffen up so that when i go on a bumpy road i dont have to slow down by 20mph b/c i feel like the car is gonna bounce off the road.
right now i have like 5" wheel gap w/ the 15s. when i put the 18s from the 350z on there will the gap increase? b/c then i'll have a freakin 6" gap and might as well put a cot'dam lift kit and settle this matter.
