So after waiting 30min on the 90 to get on the Kennedy I am driving going the usual 69mph. Then I see this car coming up on my ass all quick about it, I was on the far left. He zooms by me and does a ricer fly by (turns on his hazards) I then shot up to 80 and drove next to him, he then accelerated hard, I followed quickly and my car shot to 100. Seconds later I am at 120 and slowly passing him up, I glance over and see this white guy with a cap just looking over at me. As I slowly pass him my car continues to climb to 140.It looked like a late 90s vette. After I passed him he kept up with me but then gave up..And I was kinda nervous with cops since I was going 140. =0 I was going to record this with my cell but it's not easy holding the phone and going fast..

It's obvious the guy wasn't trying the second time. There is no way, unless you got nitrous/turbo/s-charger since the last time I saw you, that a car that runs the quarter in the 13's got beat by you...

It was a late 90s, my friend just told me they're slow and don't even deserve to be vetts. My car does have a chip :D Technosquare. Anyway it really happened and I don't think he was toying cuz I heard his engine growl, tho it was stock. It was black and I wanna say 96 or 7? Do you believe everything you hear? 97 and up Corvettes are all 13 sec cars and faster. 96 ish vettes with the LT1 arent exactly slugs either.

werd even a stock LT1 vett will rip you a new asshole... those are not slow cars...i bet he wasnt even trying.... besides i drive my buddies LT1 camaro all the time.. as a matter of fact i just replaced the opti spark on his car last night.. and we've been testing the car for 2 hours today to make sure it runs correctly.. that mother moves... and a corvette will walk on it..

damn.... how'd you do 140 on kennedy?? no traffic on there after waiting 30 min. to get on there?? Hmm... I thought vettes were faster than that... every time I see one go by real fast after usually tailgating me for a while, I just let them go. no chance with my car... what so ever...my CC bill as of late always makes me think twice now...

I have heard those stories as well... it was from someone who owned a hyundai elantra... i think it was silver at the time... not the GT tho. I laugh every time... his elantra could barely keep up with my car, let alone a vette..

I'm 100% sure that either andrew told the story differerently than it really happened, or the guy wasn't trying/left it in top gear and didn't downshift...

On top of that where did he get a TS ECU for his 5th gen ? Sounds fishy to me to begin with.... there are only 2 in existance, Larrio and Y2k1SE. Me being the king of all 3.0 5th gens would have one if it was indeed avalible to me, but its not so I have the EU.

2nd LT1 Vettes like that are not all that impressive, AUTO ones are 14 second cars at the track. I've ran a few myself and never bothered posting bout it cause I don't consider C4s all that impressive unless its a ZR1. Run a C6 and talk bout it then.
