looks easy enough. Take out the gear housing brackets, slup off the old bushings, and put on new ones. Yes they are slit so you can just push them on...

I THINK B13 Sentra might use the same bushings as the Maxima, I know that ALOT of RWD Nissans share their bushings- aka 240SX can use Z32 bushings, and Q45 can use Z32 bushings also.

My point is, get some ES bushings if possible. I need to do mine, I got a lil bit of play left in the wheel. My Sparco wheel makes a GIGANTIC difference in the way the car handles, the steering is much more heavy and WAY more precise. The car actually IS fun to drive around the corners fast !

werd... the sentra and altima use the same bushing.... i took on of the brackets off last night.. it doesnt look bad even though the corner is torn a little... hey mike would that make my steering wheel shake up and down when i go over bumps..

i think thats called bump steer, i have that too, but can't seem to find the cause of it. I got ES bushings installed, no play in the wheels...

I guess that would explain that extra play you have Sebastian. i didn't think there were extra bushings around the area. :gotme:

i dunno... all i know is that the damn wheel shakes up and down when i go over bumps.. and my tire are ballanced and everything else (bushings) have been replaced and still no difference in ride quality.. when i go over a bump or a pinch in the road the car feels like the dashboard is not bolted into place.. everyting shakes...

ask somebody to push the front of the car down a couple of times while you are looking aound under steering wheel, under car, etc to see where the pivot point is... (i'm trying to lose the maxinoob title, can you tell?)
