A little relief

Coming home from work, I was a little more aggravated than usual...boss wants to much shit done in too little time (budget usually takes four months...was given two weeks to do it this time), worked 13.5 hours straight and no lunch. So I'm stopped at a light, I see an Alero pulling up to my right, the adjacent light is yellow and he's not slowing down. I'd say he was doing 20mph when I launched hard as soon as the green light showed itself. The Alero had anticipated my move and was at WOT as I launched.

Low in first gear, my tires chirpred chirped chirped as they struggled to gain traction but with some quick throttle feathering, my car hooked up and I was gone. By the end of first gear, I was a fender ahead of the Alero. A hard shift into second yielded another chirp and an even larger gain. By 5500 in 2nd, I was over a car length ahead.

Flashed the hazards and was on my merry way.

The above story is true...with the exception of the flashing hazards...that shit's just ghey.
