So last night, I raced two cars. The 1st car was an RSXs with an Exhaust. At the red light we go at it and instantly off the line I am 1-2 car lengths ahead of him. I keep going and going and it was over. 2nd race was against a stock SRT-4 Neon. Off the line I got him by about 1/2 a car length. At the begining I was pulling on him and he was catching up a little later. By the time there was a light stopping us, I was ahead. No car had passengers.

well, im pretty sure it was the s2000, because the maxima is a 6cyl

My brother almost bought a S2000 but he couldn't live with the torque deficiency compared to his G20. He bought a WRX wagon for winter driving while his G20 chills in the geeerage.

How can you stand having torque output comparable to that of a riding lawn mower ?

This is why Honda did not make the S2000 in automatic. It would probably run 16's-17's in the 1/4 mile.

As for torque and I, I really do not drive hard in the city. The part I hate the most is that if you dont launch at 6-7K you will bog like crazy. So it's either a 6-7k clutch dump or nothing at all.

yeah i just sold an 04 s2K with the 2.2 motor and it seemed like it had a bit more torque then the 2.0
too bad the car is made for small people

dude, i can;t imagine a steering wheel resting on my lap in that car... the first thing i would do is install one of those "racing" steering wheels...

the steering wheel on the s2k is tiny....those after market wheels are about teh same size. The annoying thing for me is that when i sit at the right distance for my foot to be on the clutch....my arm is not far enough away from the steering wheel. plus the cup holder is in a fuckign stupid place.

i got to say the obvious again, i sat in a s2000 when i was at a honda dealer, and shit, my knee was hitting my chin. the car is way to fucking small for me..being 6 foot 2 and weighing 200lbs. the car is made for little asian people that weigh nothing. right boob???
