Happened on the E-Way. It was a black one with some white guy wearing a red cap, white shirt and shades. He pulled next to me, looked over and took off, then switched in front of me. He slammed on his brakes to be a prick. Then he gunned it hard. The little 4 cyl motor made a lot of noise as it slowly went forward, it took it a while to really get going. I waited a minute, then took my car to 80 catching up to him instantly. I just sat there in my car driving next to him for a bit. I looked over and he just sat there staring at me. He slowly started to pass me, then I gunned it and eventually went 140mph and that was it. Eh I thought these things were fast...

It was probably a Hybrid one, they run like 19 second 1/4 miles. Auto Maxima aint goin to hold up to a Honda.... Honda rocks.

Sorry to say, but even if it did pull on you, it still wouldn't be all that fast.

I swear to god, if you post one more racing thread, you're gone. We don't care about the street racing dreams you have at night. Now, if you didn't only post racing crap I wouldn't care, but that is all you do...

I have a 146mph maxima and never go above 90mph, and I don't street race...

I dont street race.
I used to like to mess with people but its such a waste of energy and gas.
And dangerous.
I dont get why people do it anyway. To me its a much greater rush racing at the track.

Is Ninos banned from here ? I dont like reading BS stories bout automatic 5th gens going 140+MPH with no problems. Now if he wrote a story bout a Tempo racing him, I would belive it.... but I've driven auto Maximas, and I am really not too impressed.

And no Mike it's not all that fast, I used to work at Honda too, and I drove one..They're ok..Too much hype.

we just messed with someone the other night... dude got so close to my car for no fcking reason, i couldn't see his headlights anymore... slammed on my brakes in hope for a new bumper.. didn't happen... he ended up getting blocked in.. should never ever ever ever ever ever mess with a little asian girl...

I got brake checked 2 times today and neighter time I was following close to the person.... you do NOT wanna brake check me. I will run you ass off the road.... who are the cops going to belive ? Nice looking Maxima or some POS Ford Contour ? Riiiight. Man I love to have a beater, this winter I will ram people off the road with my subie all the time, time to weld me up a big brush guard :D

hahaha... yea... i dun brake check unless you are tailgating me like a mofo... for NO REASON... i think it was a sunfire that was doing that to me too... who are the cops going to beleive?? me or some big redneck lookin dude?

like in traffic, and you're on my ass, then i'm going to assume you're on my ass kuz you dun want the car next to you cutting you off.. that's when i back off from teh cars in front of me even more so.

In traffic I eighter tailgate so no one can get infront of me, or I just relax faaar away from the car infront of me- HOPING that I can just keep my car creeping in 1st gear at 700RPMs.... just idleing. I hate clutching in and out durring traffic, and I get stuck in it ALL the time on I88.

I felt bad for one brake checker.... I got infront of him after he checked me, and slammed on my brakes sooo hard that he veered into the median concrete wall and bounced off it 2 times in a Blazer. Dude deserved it, 55MPH in the left lane on the cell phone..... guess it taught him a lesson not to yap on the phone in the left lane, and if you are- be sure to do atleast 80MPH. People shouldn't be friggn hoggn lanes.... it should be punished just like you get punishes for cell phone usage in the city limits of Chicago !

I second that! I tend to back off more than tailgate but usually the only time i tailgate is when i'm tired of getting cut off... i seem to get cut off a lot and enough is enough... my car's automatic so i dun have to worry about the clutch or anything... i hate those damn drivers who drive slow as all hell in the left lane... i think my biggest pet peeve is when someone cuts my ass off and then slows down to go the same speed as the car next to the car they were trying to manuever around...

Nice I saw a guy reading a newspaper while driveing in moderate traffic today. Starred at him for a while and gave him the thumbs up but i dont think he noticed lol what a dumb fuck

i did it once..had to read an article for class and that was the only way...not in traffic tho...i drive on country roads to get to school....

hahaha... i tried that once kuz i forgot to do an assignment and i had a quiz on it that day and i was alreayd running 30 minutes late to class... driving to the city... in some not too much moving traffic... but... i failed at that reading thing.. a minute into it..(after two lines of reading) i almost threw up...i actually had to pull my car into the oasis thing and sit tehre for fifteen more minutes before i felt well enough to drive again... taught me a lesson.

found out that the quiz was easy and aced it w/o studyin anyway.

Just so you know; left lame blocking has been illegal is this state for about two years now. It just needs to be enforced more.
