I've been messing with Optimum No-Rinse and I've gotta say, I'm impressed. Two capfuls in two gallons of water is all it takes to wash your car. Soak a MF towel in the mixture, clean a panel and use a second MF towel to dry. ONR leaves the car clean and slick without leaving swirl marks. So for those who don't have hoses, ONR is the way to go. I plan to use it during the winter with warm water.

Ty, How about using a sheepskin mitt in place of the MF for the washing part? I'm still not convinced that an MF can lift the dirt away enough.

Did you use a second bucket to rinse your MF before washing the next panel?

Where to get it: Autogeek (http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-no-rinse.html) (Use code SMARTSHOPPER2 for 15% off, good until 10/15)

Tom, I've never used a sheepskin mitt however I'll say that the MF lifted dirt without a problem. However, these were not very dirty cars that I washed with ONR. They had been rained on but it's not like I had caked mud to fight. The instructions on the bottle and on the 'net don't specify if you need to use a second rinse bucket but I did anyway because that's how I usually wash cars.
