I wouldn't spend 70k on it. I really do not like the styling. The only current Lexus I like is the IS250-IS350.

When I drove my boss's IS300, i didnt want to give it back, LOL. I love that car. I would take it anyday over the maxima, not considering the fuel economy, and the fact that a civic has more cabin-space than the IS300. Plus its got the 2JZ, cant go wrong with that....hehe.... (with a supra being my dream car)

well, I say that we all have different tastes, so we shouldn't bash on each others tastes, cuz thats not gunna go very far. Dave likes what he wants, and I can't change that. As well as the value of a car or item to a person, it all boils down to the money. And nothing can make me change my dream car.

well, im a die hard bmw fan, and i would take a bmw over any car, but if you look at it financially, the LS costs less than a 7 series bmw, and has about the same features, without that fucking i drive thing. and its a toyoya, so you wont have all those bmw problems.

New LS is hot, I love the way it looks. Pretty much all the BMWs save for the 335 coupe look pretty borrrrring and personally I hate their styling IN AND OUT. Have you sat in a 06 530iX ? The interior dash looks as plane as that of a 1943 Willys Jeep. If I wanted a AWD sedan in the 50K range, I would look at the GS350 AWD, RL, M35x..... I have yet to drive any of those but the RL, and I like the way the RL drives- plus we don't have many problems with them.

Parking system is Lexus' idea... and I think it was even copy righted so no one can copy it. Now with Toyotas piss poor tranny record I dunno if I would buy a LS460 till about 2009 when I know all the problems where worked out. Look up 07 Camrys and their 6spd autos..... I know a guy whos parents got *2* 07 Camry V6s bought back because the trannies failed on them in less than 1K miles. 1st Camry was a LE V6, tranny failed at 120 miles.... bought back by Toyota- and they where given a XLE V6 for the same price.... 566 miles on the odo- tranny failed on that one too. Needless to say they bought a 06 RL and are happy now.

Toyota= USED to mean reliable. Welcome to Cost cutting, Nissan way.

This only leaves us with 1 reliable car company, Honda.

you know what the problem is now a days, everyone is thinking about all profit and less customer satisfaction and reliability of their cars. more japanese cars are being made here stateside or down in mexico. japanese cars are going to be cheap and non reliable like american cars now. no more QUALITY built cars.

At first I did not like the 6-series at all but after looking at it a few more times I was like :eek:. The last time I saw that car it was White and had Chrome Rims with a deepdish. It parked right in front of me and the door opens up. The 1st thing I see is some legs and red high heels. Then I see the mini skirt then I see the female. God damn that was sexy. haha.

so apparently there is only 1 m8 out there and it's a prototype... regardless, i also learned that the engine from the m8 prototype is now used in the mclaren f1... now that's what i call ahead of its time!

U can't compare a LS to a M or RL... LS is EVERYTHING Lexus has to offer- BUT IN a bigger car that is in a diff class..... VS Everything Acura and Nissan has to offer- to date, in a smaller less expenssive car.

I don't care much for the M, RL and the LS.

I dont like new cars.

Honda is VERY conservative bout their cars..... shit they are almost done with their 1st production V8 and V10s. Next RL is supposed to get the V8 while the NSX will have the V10.

RL has everything a flagship needs, lots of comfort features, nice interior... just lacks the speed.
