So I basically have a cobbled together system from my old max plus some new parts

Alpine 9815
Crystal mobilesound 6.5 front components (I think the tweeters might be blown or the amp pushing them sucks)
Pushing them is an old Lanzar vibe 225
Infinity reference 12" sealed powered by a
US acoustics 600 amp

Honestly it sounds alright but at higher volumes at least to me it seems like the highs get a little off and there isn't enough punch to the bass. I mostly listen to rock/alternative (metallica, red hot chili peppers, motion city sound track etc) so I am not looking for boomy bass or any large part. I am just trying to figure out if getting an infinity perfect 10" will leave me disapointed after the 12 since I would love to fiberglass a much smaller box and have more room for moving stuff.

My thoughts are this
1. Buy a 10" infinity perfect
2. Get a good 2 ch amp for my fronts with at least a solid 75-90 watts.
3. Or get a nice 4 ch amp and get mids for the rear for the punch I am looking for.

Idk it just seems like this setup could and should sound a lot better but lately it hasn't.

Seems like you have a good strong amp according to this site

I dont know much bout your components, I never even heard of the name- but if you like HIGHS, you need to get yourself some Bostons or MB Quarts- these things will make your ears hurt with highs. I have some Boston 6.5" components in my car pushed by a big Alpine 4 channel amp and they sound awesome.

Also don't buy no Infinity junk, I used to think they where good till I went through 2 12" Kappas, and 2 sets of components from them. I used to have them in my Maxima before also till they got stolen so thats alright- I made out good on my stuff and upgraded at the same time.

I would suggest 1 12" Eclipse aluminum or titanium (if you can afford it) subwoofer and one good mono amp. US Accousticks- formelly known as Alphasonil makes some junk dog shit amps, I know- I threw out my Alphasonik amp few months ago that was in my closet for like 8 years, blew out right after the warranty ran out.

I tend to like my music clean and punchy. I have a fairly nice system in my Maxima that can hit very hard and loud, yet I have it tunned to my prefference. I dont listen to rap but I do listen to alot of trance, and some times some Top 40 or alternative stuff, even metal.... I like my bass clean.

Another thing some of these subwoofers can't deliver is FAST punches, very hard beats of happy hard core- which are fast can get VERY thrashy sounding on some of the Pioneers, Kenwoods etc.

ok get a 4 channel amp for ur interior speakers.. dont be ghetto and run a 2 channel... now for speakers in the front i would suggest some infinity kapps 60.7cs.. you can get them on egay for 170 bucks.. ihave had lots of speakers in my ride and these are hands down the best for under 500 bucks.. they are 2 ohm though so u need an amp that is stable on 2 ohms...
