Going in to work at 7am, then out to training which is in highwood I think he said. that will probably go until 5pm figure an hour to get back north that's like 6 pm
takes me a 1/2 hour to get to woodfield so I'd have to leave the house at 7:30 so maybe an hour and a half at home.

well, it was a strange day... i woke up at 7 and went to church... all i had planned was the meeting with the valet company at noon and out of nowhere, my mom told me it was my cousin's 1st birthday party at 3, so i went there instead of dave's and got a big headache due to the party being in a hot basement because 1 of the kids was sick and needed heat... got home at 7, no motrin, everything else doesn't work and i gave excedrin another try... headache is still here and i have a video to edit and turn in tomorrow...

anyways, all i did with the camera is upload all the vids from the 2 tapes on like whatever day it was that i borrowed it and it's been sitting here and gathering dust since... need it back? i can give it back to you by tomorrow but the final draft is due wednesday so if i can, i'd like to hold on to it til then...

The way i see it only a couple of meets ahve had a short turn out. BIG DEAL. There's still some time, that's why we have heads of commitee to make sure they distribute out work. This can still be a better turn out than most people think. I'm not expecting 100+ cars honestly. If we get close to that with just Maxima I will be happy. Not many people around here mod Maximas, it has been proven over and over again. I'm almost willing to bet that the org barely has more Chicago Maxima drivers that frequent their site, than what we have show up to the meets....think about it.

Well to ease all your minds here it is....we did NOT decide to cancel Maxus....it was great to see you all get upset about it and that many of you are very passionate about it...now what you all need to do is participate and get everyone else to participate. If you can't make the meetings that is fine but we can always use help and if you don't want a choice few making all the decisions, I recommend asking Xander what you can help with. We can make this a very large event but it is only about 7 months away and we still have a lot to do...so help where you can and let's make this event a big success!

I apologize for not making the meeting. I have not been feeling well the past week. After a long day of work and getting home at nearly 7:30 pm, my wife had to convince me to just stay home and rest in bed.

Tom is very right in saying that we need to involve the org. I feel we need to spread the word on all forums. I was thinking that we should start a poll on the org and other sites to find out how many people are truly interested in attending. Is there someone on our committee that belongs to the other forums? How do you all feel about this?

The notes will post posted up tonight, I would have posted in the past nights, but work has been kicking my butt, and I haven't gotten the chance to post up the new things. Although we have started a donation cup and there is $43 dollars in there. That so far should pay about 30 to 50% of the trophies. I am going to start a progress report on things that need to be done in the next month or so. The holiday season is near soon so of us will be busy with that. I know I will I have to work next week friday and Saturday, but I will still work on Maxus during this time of the year. You guys need to stay positive to make this into a positive event. I know its frustrating for those that show up to every meeting and get no where and get mad at people that doesn't show up. But we all have priorities in life, I don't expect Maxus to be your number one priority, but I expect some type of participation from all of you, so this summer will be a memorable for you and for all that had come.
