I am way out of the loop on the graphic cards that are out there.

I do not care if it is N-Vidia or ATI. I am looking for the best bang for the buck.

Here are my requirements:

1) must have dvi / vga / s-video
2) must be able to play counter-strike:source flawlessly
3) must support 1920 x 1080
4) my motherboard only supports AGP (supporting the 4x/8x modes)

Thanks :)

You dont have much choices for the AGP other then ATi X850xt (which i have) and the Nvidia 7800GS.

ATi now sells X1600 AGP but that card is slower then the X850xt and the 7800GS. The best AGP card is the 7800 so i would recommend on getting that.

7800gs

X850pro (xt is no longer available) Its on PS. 2.0

X1650xt 512mb, unlike the other two, but if im not mistaken its still slower then both of those, especially the 7800gs

You just chose how much you want to spend.

I like the 7800gs but looking at the AGP prices, it makes me want to build a new computer with PCI-E.

Thanks RobSE.

You can get a slower card for a cheaper price, since you are only running CS and the requirements on that game arent that big.
