If it's not clicking like Paul is trying to point out it might be the starter. i think the starter would have been obvious though. The only other things that come to mind is the switch to start the car not catching like Toshi's was doing. I know you have a 99, maybe the immobilizer :gotme:

It's your battery/alternator/starter/ignition switch/immobilizer/key...........

The starter sits pretty much under the intake piping that connects to the box. One way to find it is to follow the wires that connect to the top of the battery.

not a terminal, the cylinder that has a diameter of about 2 or 3 inches and height of 3 or 4 inches...

I recall a time when you had trouble starting the car. You got called on it for being an idiot with it, and then you blamed the car. :glare:

well, so far my troubles seems to be the same one as ducks....

crazy ass corrosion on my battery terminals.. i didn't think it was that bad... and i'm hoping that's the only trouble i'm going to have with this car...

i told ya.... replace the battery terminals.. both the terminals and wires and check all the grounds.... also if you ever regreased teh starter and used graphite grease that could be the problem also... meaning that the terminals for the solenoid (internaly) could be corroded all you gotta do is take it apart and clean the terminals as welll...

put a vice grip on the battery terminal and start the car up.

i had to do that on my 98. i just drove it to work and fixed it during my lunch time. My negative leaked and finally rusted the band around the battery to break. You can barely see it at all. but tug on it and it will come at you. Those terminals look really crap in design cause they are really thin.

next up would be the cables. voltage drop battery to starter.
