maybe ur knock sensor is bad

A GLE is heavier than a GXE, and knock sensor is probably bad too.

Nice, should give 50-75whp??
That should be enough to beat grandmas car.

a sensor that detects knock or ping from your engine and regulates timing so your engine doesnt get fucked up.
part number....22060-30p00.

Sensor detects kncoking in the engine and detonation. Usually go bad with time, and anything less than 93 octane gasoline. It can retard the performance of your car causing bad gas mileage among other things. It is located under the intake manifold....a lil hard to get to, but do-able

dude, that part is not cheap, it lists out for like $178. and then you get the maxima club discount on that. you can find it cheaper one ebay, but trust me, get the car diagnosed first.

$60 on ebay.............
First see if you actually have a bad knock sensor, go and see if your car is giving any pcm codes. Then you go from there.

John, you use a different one that is mounted on the rear of the block by the firewall.

It should be the same as a SR20DE one, you can find them dime a dozen on SR20forums. I remember I compared the Q45 KS to the SR20 one and a Maxima one, and they looked identical..... Q45 has 2 KS, plus the harness goes bad from all the heat- price at the dealer- bout 1200 dollar job.
