So I find my way out to the local junkyard today, not especially looking for anything in particular. Come across the 95-96 SE I got my wiper stalk from a few weeks ago, nothing really left worth getting on it. Walk a couple steps away... come across this:

95-96 fully loaded SE, black leather interior. Seats were almost perfect, except for the back seat azz cushion. Needless to say, I nabbed em, along with a few other things (95-96 SE cluster, as you can see)

Only piece missing was the driver's door panel (entire thing was nowhere to be found). SO, I have ~80% of a full leather interior for my car now. I'm sure it'll only take 2 years to come across a nice black seat cushion. I don't actually like leather seats (at least 4th gen seats, they're too flat and too slippery when driving hard) but we recently got a dog, and her white hair gets imbedded in my back seat whenever she's in my car (rare, but it happens sometimes). Leather would work out great (as it does in the wife's GLE). Her hair is all over the 88 Caravan interior... but it's an 88 Caravan.

Found an AWESOME 3rd gen there. 94 SE auto, fully loaded, immaculate black leather interior. I took a few pics with my camera phone, but it was kinda wet and fogged up from the damm snow today, so they don't do it justice by any means. I was soaked by the time I left the yard. Not fun.

If anyone else needs anything that the car(s) might still have next weekend, lemme know. Cars were at U-pull-it in Chicago Heights (Rte 30 between State and Cottage Grove).

per the end of my post...

U-pull-it in Chicago Heights (Rte 30 between State and Cottage Grove).

Yes, I believe the sunroof shade was intact. Place is about 15 minutes from my house, but I can only make it there on the weekends (closes too early during the week).

That would be the one. They're also known as "Speedway auto recyclers." That's the business name for the part of the office that does their own pulling. Real nice to deal with, actually, I've bought a few parts from them that I couldn't find in the self-pull yard. Trans in my van was from them, paid $300, been working great for 3 years and 60k miles.

This place is by no means a Maxima mecca... as of right now, there are two 4th gens and two 3rd gens out there. But that 94 SE is a real find... it'll probably be picked pretty clean by next week, but I don't exactly need anything for a 3rd gen.
