you're gonna need to spend alittle more then 140 if you want something really good.

do you honestly think that you cant get good quality sound without spending money and the more expensive units are automatically better than the cheaper ones? then playstation 3 should be automatically better than the wii and 360. you can get a cheap radio with awesome sound if you give up goodies like hd and sat radio and inputs ect....i didn't say i wanted the best radio, i just want one with clear sound

i had lots of experience with aftermarket radios. I must have gotton like 5 or 6 by this times...let's just say the sub 100 ones are not even worth a look at...i put one of those sub 100 ones into a honda i got and it sound worse then stock just made the speakers louder so it can break faster, but with that being said i'll sell you my pioneer that sounds great for $150 :-D ....also the ps3 = the xbox360 with the hd-dvd player kit. so they're the same price.

what is the model of the pio? and i have had experiences with aftermarket radios too...if a cheap radio is packed wit features, the factory probally cut corners but if i get a simple name brand radio in the mid range i think you can get some good sound, my sisters 70$ clarion unit sounds decent with the stock max speakers and now sounds even better with an amp and aftermarket speakers.
