Well I just got off the phone with Blackhawk and the date for June 23rd, which is the expected date for us to use the track is out. They have an competitive event going on that weekend. But if we were to rent out the track it would cost $5000 to rent the entire track to ourselve, plus $20 per car, and $125 to hire a paramedic. I'm going to figure out what track event we can do that day. If worst comes to worst its going to have to be straight line racing at Byron or Greatlakes.:banghead:

I just got in contact with Craig with Private Tracktimes, and he said he might be able to get us the Autobahn on Tuesday or Wenesday the 26th or the 27th. I'll contact him to see when the majority rules on the org. Here is what the schedule looks like for June.

Here is the info I recieved for Craig this morning.

$5000 + Insurance to rent the North Course of the Autobahn
$6000 + Insurance to rent the South Course of the Autobahn

25% deposit to reserve the track
$1250 for the North Course
$1500 for the South Course

The rest is due on the day of the event.

I'm thinking I am going to get the South Course since it is a larger course than the North Course. I will post up more info of where to send the money and such. This sounds a lot but when you consider the more people we get the more affordable this sounds.

I just checked out that site at the autobahn and called Mark Basso, track rental rep, and it might be cheaper just to go thru them and instead of going thru Craig at Private Track Times. Here are the cost of getting the North Course.

North:
$4000 Track rental + $2300 for insurance, safter workers, paramedics = $6300

South $5000 + $2300 for insurance, safter workers, paramedics = $7300 either way its appox $700 cheaper than going thru Craig.

Which also we need 25% deposit to reserve the track, now the problem is that we need the money fast since a Mitsubishi group has an interest on that date according to Mark Basso.
