Should I add a baselink II ? Or just leave it? I don't want to mess up anything?? If so will a HI low converter work?

without hearing your system in person, it's a hard call to make

doesn't say much to me.
my cousin's camaro has bose in it, but it came with a factory sub.
I've seen quite a few stock systems hit way hard on the b*** lines without the need for a sub.

I had a Bazzoka, 8" amplified 100W RMS unit. It sounded great in my Maxima, I sold it to a friend of mine and its in his BMW now. The tube is approx 8 years old now and still bumps. I heard 2 Infinity BassLinks both of them the version 1.0 and they sucked. What made things even worse is that I heard both of them in hatchbacks, which usually make ANY subwoofer sound good. I would just buy a small 10" quality sub and mono amp. It will cost approx the same $$$ and hit WAY harder than any of them "ready to go subwoofers".

Couldn't have said it better myself. Get yourself a 10" woofer, in a small sealed box w/ 250 watts and you will get MUCH better sound!

you mean like my Kicker PSR100, that sounds good when it works?
I need to figure that out, it's got me confused
edit: it's a PSR not a KSR. PSR means built in AMP, which I think is the problem

I have a 10" Kicker CVR in a sealed box if you are interested. You will need a amp to power it. I've had it in my Maxima for about 1 year, I bought it new from Tweeter. Its been just sitting in my room for the last year - used as a PlayStation chair :P Its fairly small but with a good amp it hits very hard. I was quite contempt with it using a old school Fosgate Punch Power amp that only put out 400W RMS. It put out some REALLY tight loud bass....
I've upgraded to a 12" Eclipse sub that burned out 3 of my "ebay" Alpine amps. The sub got stolen along with the burned out amp a month ago... dumb thiefs.

the friend I got the PSR from said he ohmed the sub out and it was good so the problem is in the onboard amp.
I need to find a decent one to power it.
I don't think my punch 45 HD will cut it
