On slicks, it should be lower.... its hard to harness all that TQ. You know I do have almost double the TQ of your F20.

I don't care much for 1/4..... but my new car I will deff try to see how long it will take before officials ban me from the track for no cage. I'm aiming for 10.999@125+ MPH, daily driven.

If you want a ton of power, EJ motors just don't cut it. My brother has a 03 WRX and he knows that his car is pretty much done after a turbo upgrade, there is not much power left after Stage 3.

In contrast to Rich's WRX..... SR20DET (comparing turbo to turbo motors here) from a GTiR ( to be fair because STi EJ motor is stronger than a normal WRX motor) will handle 500WHP on pump gas on all stock internals. There is a guy with a G20 who made lil over 560WHP on a stock GTi-R motor with just cams (no hear porting, no custom pistons- all stock). Turbo was obviously not stock and the motor was tunned. Hes building that motor up now and is aiming for close to 700WHP.

3SGTE is a VERY strong motor, they are cast iron block with Yamaha designed cylinder head. These motors are known to push 800WHP+ when built AND tunned properly.

4G63 motor.... while it CAN make alot of power, its not reliable enough and those motors varry too much from one to the other. While AMS can make 800WHP on one very highly built motor, another one blows up with a few mild mods- not every motor is the same when it comes to Mitsu, quality control is just not as good.

I agree about the 2.0 motor not being able to get much past 300whp, I see it all the time on nasioc how guys are angry because they put an 18g on it and only get 290whp when they are expecting 350+.
I almost got an 05 before this one, glad I didnt, even though they are supposed to have the best trans. The 06 wrx motor isnt the same as the sti, but it is close minus the heads and I thing the intake manifold. All it takes is a cheap vf39 swap from the sti, since they still left the 2.5 wrx with the td04 shit turbo, and guys are making some surprising numbers with it as well, but the downfall is not the motor but the trans and the rest of the drivetrain that none of the wrx's have on an sti.
Oh well, ill be happy with around 300whp when I am done and I will just have to countdown to when the trans takes a shit and just put a 6 speed in.

I MIGHT upgrade the turbo on it- currently has a nice HKS GT series turbo for good response. I have to make it drivable. I have driven some fast cars, but anything over 400WHP/TQ in a FWD is a pain to control. It would be fun just to do it for the ET/MPH.... but I want my turbo spooling at 2K RPM already, currently it has max boost by 2600RPM.
