Video converting ?

I am looking to convert some of my movies I download off Torrents so I can watch them on my DVD player + big screen.

90% of the movies are in DiVX format and my HDupconversion Sony won't play that format.

I downloaded some free trials of diff softwares but nothing seems to work right.

Anyone deal with anything like that ?

no software needed, there is a player $50, plays everything, but i dont know what you need for HD

VSO ConvertXToDVD should do you well, just get it from a torrent

I have like 6 of them in my house and 3 of them are not even used.

I'm downloading Nero 7 Platinum, Ty says there should be a option to burn DiVX to VCD in MPEG2 format..... shall see when its done DLing.

why burn to VCD standards, i think VCD is at a slower FPS then a DVD. Nero Vision is what i use to convert and burn. its been working out fairly decent. i dont know if i ever done a divx file
