Ok when ever i drive past 40 mph or higher and some times lower and i hit the breaks, it sounds/feels like the ABS is kicking in ... If i touch the breaks at all it feels like i will fly though the window.... I don't know if i should drive on it or what....
I had my front breaks done about 5k miles ago and had the routers cut....
Fucken A....
what could be wrong???

you may have made the brakes too good and now they want to lock up all the time. ABS is trying to prevent that.
change your braking habits

lol, my ABS light has always been on in the altima... IMO, it doesn't really matter if it is disabled... it makes a better driver... less computer shit to rely on...

thats what its called....abs actuator, but anyway, yeah they go bad often

i work at martin nissan, but service is a bunch of dicks.
closest dealership is mid city on irving, or star on touhy.
yeah, i guess they will take it, its a safety issue.
you have to ask for a rental, usually this fix takes a couple hrs, so in most cases they will ask you to wait.

Call the dealership, make an appoitment to have them look at the ABS. Tell them you can't wait and need a loaner car.

At my dealership you call, they set aside a loaner for you- we have 36 brand new Acuras, TLs, TSXs, RLs, RDXs and MDXs. You come in they give you the car with a full tank of gas, XM radio, most of the time Navigation.... you come back pick up your car- washed, windows cleaned and vacuumed. There is complementary Starbucks coffee on premises, Sat TV, internet plus WiFi if you need it.

I never had anything done at Nissan where I needed a loaner, but it always seems like its a PITA to get a Nissan serviced. Most Nissan dealerships are a buncha idiots, they have one of the lowest customer service satisfaction index's of all manufacturers !

172K miles on my 5th gen, ABS works just fine :)

That's why my next car is going to be either a Lexus or a BMW...they know how to treat their customers right.

They have the $ to do it since they tried to charge me $13 for a bolt once.
