View Full Version : Headliner Cleaning Advice Needed

Well i've been looking at my headliner for a little bit now and its starting to look pretty dirty, i was wondering if you guys had any advice on what to use to clean it with and how to go about cleaning it?

delta sonic car wash....20 bucks at the detail shop and they do a great job

I dont let anyone detail my car i do it myself if your not going to post in regards to my question then stop fucken post whoreing

If the headliner or fabric on the roof interior is to be cleaned, test the fabric before cleaning. If the adhesive that secures the headliner has weakened, separation can occur during cleaning. Use limited moisture and gentle brushing to clean headliners.

I use a solution of 1 part Woolite and 3 or 4 parts water. Mix in a spray bottle. Lightly spray the solution on a MF towel and gently scrub the headliner. Use a clean MF after. The key is not to get the headliner too wet or it will cause the adhesive to let go.

Thanks for the advice bluesbrekr, only thing i did different was i used Oxy Clean and i used mf towel that was litly damp and man wow the headliner looks brand new.
