Oh no..... they have "Free Happy Hour" at the Hotel.... I'm stayn at the Hyatt.

But since I have a rental car, I roam around the area ( grocery store shopping for food n beer- gotta save !). I know the area pretty well by now. I MIGHT just go down to the Acura dealer here sometime durring the week to see if they are lookin for any tech by any chance. I really like FL, its so nice n clean compared to Chicago. Even the most remote highways are super clean. Deff place I wanna move to !

Might be changing the 1/4 into a dyno day on Saturday. Looked into how much we are spending for food for the BBQ. Tomarrow going to go to Kozue's to work on logo and exact food amounts.

saturday is a bit on the tight side....i would do chicago indoor racing at like 8 or 9pm, just incase you run into something at the track or on the road.....and i would leave for byron an hour early as well.....but thats just my 2cents.

I think Sat is too close togheter.

Its going to take about hour n half to 2 hours to get back from Byron, and then to go out eat. I think you are better off catchn a small bite to eat before you go on the GoKarts. All those gas fumes and racing around might make some people a bit dizzy. They got a bar and restaurant upstairs - looks like a control tower. People can get something to eat there and grab a beer or a drink.

Just something I thought off..... too tight of a schedule for that Sat afternoon/evening.

How long until there is a set schedule?

Mr Grey
05-27-2007, 08:58 PM
Mike, I suggested eating at Chicago Indoor Racing. Food there is not bad, and drinks are nice too. These times posted are worst case scenario. Hopnestly, the track will probably be done sooner than the time alloted for it. I have taken into account traffic and all, but even the most well planned outing will have something go wrong with it. There will be plenty of time foe everything...I'm not worried at all. Think about it, we will probably have a handful of people running Sat. They will be probably done in a couple of hours. I have witnessede it first hand when we go out to Byron.

I think my post, post #17 will be pretty much the set schedule.

i am pretty sure we will not just be handing that URL out...

IMO, we should do the cruise again at about the time we plan to do this on the day it will happen and have someone bad with directions (I can do this...) only have the directions we actually come up with and lead the way... that will also give a good estimate of how long the real cruise will take...

Brian

I got it on a map with directions right now, but i'm trying to make it upload right.

Brian

just a thought.
why are you running down 290 to downtown which is a longer trip rather than the 90?
the chance of loosing people down the 90 is also less. IMO
