So my friend got this a boxster. Slow car run's like 14.6. So he's afriad to race it cuz he knows he's gonna get his ass kicked. I tried to race him a couple of times, he didn't want to. So this week he got his 95 SL500. It has 315hp and 290ft-lb. Weight about 4100lb. He's pretty confident that he can beat me. Looking at the specs I was pretty i would either hang or fall behind a bit. So we went off to a back road, line up and raced. Both auto's here. Had 2 runs. First run of the line, 1st and 2nd gear he was by my passenger door, then when 3rd gears hit, he was walking me to where i was about his tail and we stopped. Then we went again, this time i launched a bit higher rpm around 1500 instead of the 1000 on the first run. He was hanging on longer this time throught 1st and 2nd. 2nd gear he was by my passenger door still, then by 3rd gear put about half a car between him and me. Now he's very confident that he can beat me, I told him before that I can put 3 car lenghts on him with my 95 190hp maxima, shit talkin just to get him to race me. Of course i'll be doing this after my swap. So today after the race I said so we're gonna race again with my 95 right? and he was pretty confident in saying that he kicked my ass today so he has no doubts. Looks like we got another race. Sorry guys, can't film it. He won't race if i film it.
