So after all the planing that went on over the last few months- it finally came and gone by- like the wind.
Many thanks to the people who made this happen, and how everything was very organized. I know I didn't put in as much into making this event happen as Xander or Kozue, but we all did our share - and we all have jobs. Its amazing what we can do if we put our strengths together.
Friday was tons of fun, and althou I couldn't make it to the strip- I had fun on Saturday night. Just messn around with people at the GoKart place, and then chilln around the hotel was great.
Today was a ton of fun, and I enjoyed it. I think it was THE most successful event we have planed so far. I would also like to thank the people who voted for my ride, it means alot to me. My Maxima means alot to me, its my own personal expression. Its been with me through tough times, and like a good friend is always there for me. Thanks to that car, I know many of you great people. Its like a little family outside my own family, we are there for eachother.
Now lets make '08 happen here in Chicago !

Thanks to anyone who helped make Maxus 07 possible. I think it was a total success, the weather wasn't the best at times but we pulled through.

Eventhough I was not able to make it on Friday and Sat., yesterday was a blast. Got to meet many people for the first time, was able to put faces to alot of people that come on here. Although I wasnt there for most of this, I was able to see that a shit load of work went into this and just beign there yesterday, I was able to see that it was extremly tireing. To those that made yesterday possible, Thanks! It was fun and something I would like to be a part of again. Special thank you to my brother for busting his ass again on the grill. Not easy doing that shit all day, feeding 50+ Food was awesome.

Hey guys I know I missed about 90% of it but I believe you guys all did a good job planning it. Were there at least 100 maximas total?

people said that it was because there was no racing track...

ehh, don't even worry about it anymore. For it being organized by first timers to this sort of thing, the whole thing came out a success. However, if it does happen here again next year, and it isn't 10x better than this year, it will be a disappointment...

hence, we need to secure the track and it will become a very big meet. I know many people would love to give it a try.
If I knew the karts where goin to be so expensive for so little time on the track, I wouldn't have raced. It was fun, but not 60 dollars fun.
I doubt anyone has said anything bout '08 yet, and everyone says they would attend next year...... so lets make this better ;)

why do you think andy and I didn't go? We knew it was $60-$80 for only a couple races. I think it was mentioned before that it's not cheap. Hell if there's a track then it will definitely be a big turn out. I don't really care for it cause I won't race my car but just the fact that I can watch other cars race, is enough for me...
