some of you may have experienced this if i have tried to contact you or you have tried to contact me, but basically, my incoming texts are delayed by 3 hours or so, my outgoing texts rarely get to the other person, i don't get the incoming calls instantly - instead, i get some rings at 2 am and when i pick up, it disconnects... all in all, i did everything verizon is telling me but nothing works...

so i am looking at a new phone...

i will pretty much be spending $150 on it but no 2 year contract... otherwise, if i don't mind a contract, i'd get the phone jez currently has...

i played with that phone before, and it really didnt suit me. the buttons were too small for me to text freely, and keeping the screen clean is a pain in the ass.

PDAs have crappy battery life, small buttons on the Treo have kept me away from it. Also signal is not the best on them. If you are not going to use it for more than calls and texts, you are better off with a normal phone.

Get the iPHONE :P

iphone is only for cingular, he has verizon. PLus there are better iphone knock offs better than the iphone itself...

I aint buying the iPHONE.... I don't need a 600 dollar phone that locks up on me and does all kinds of other BS. I need my phone to DIAL, and TEXT. My next one will be the new HTC Apache thats soon is goin to hit the market- PDA.

man i've just seen the line for the iphone these guys are freaks. I had my hands on the pre-production IPHONE. And it doesn't make me happy at all. $600 for a phone WITH a 2 year contract is just silly.

of course the model i played with had extremely buggy software and its a long way from done. But NOTHING on that phone puts a smile on my face.

you know your problems is not with phone its with service... something is goofed up on the routing from your IEMI to w/e verizon uses on their CDMA network, i think those are sat. I've had that once in a while when i used a cingular CDMA phone and that was old school.

The new phone might fix it because pretty much they have to route a new IEMI to your existing line or a completely new line, so its like running new wires therefore resulting in a possible fix.

the treo is a treo. your normal smartphone, for people who have usage of email on demand and etc, it is a great phone. battery life should be decent, all smartphones with touchscreens has about 1 day of battery life. but see how the phones are design is they should be charged every chance it gets on your cradle at work if your a business person. They run problems to help prodivitity.

I use smartphones for entertainment. watching porn, mp3 player, web surfing. all sorts of games. I never heard anything about treos or anyone returning them but then again the treos i know are company issued.

I was just @ Sushi Station, and there is a Cingular store right there..... people are wrapped half around the building waiting for they phone.

I waited out the iPOD till like 5th generation till I got it.... I will wait out the iPHONE.

battery life for the treo tends to average around 3 days with moderate talking... works for me since my phone recently went to 1 day only without any talking...

also, the phone will be getting hacked if i get it... always have done it to my phones, always will... for example, the phone has a horrible speakerphone but there is a hack to increase volume...

i will most likely be getting this phone...
