Just wondering if anyone here has tried these pads. I'm looking to get new pads and saw these that seem pretty neat. Double sided and has a nice adapter for easy centering. What do y'all think about this?

You essesntially have 4 pads in 2...nice trick. Although I get 6 pads for about $10 more. Do they have something to block on product from going to the other side? The reason i ask is because these would be great to save space, and for cars that have already been treated before. Most of the pads I use usually end up looking like crap, and tons of dirt, and products gets really deep into my pads.....maybe those are things to consider when purchasing pads..........

The edge pads are well liked on Autopia.com.
I haven't purchased them yet but they have gotten very good reviews.

Thanks for the input. Hope they turn out great and are easy to use. I ordered them and they should be in by tomorrow. We'll see how "good" they are.

yeah, these seem pretty nice and on autopia they rave about them, only problem i see with them is that with the new ultimate detailer there seems to be a balancing problem, which according to davidb, they are fixing it

I finally put the pads and PC to a test. The Edge 2000 pads are really neat for being double sided allowing ease when changing from the orange to green pad. Also, the centering adapter is sweet since there are no more pad centering problems as compared to using the velcro backed plate and lake country pads. Also the product doesn't go from the orange pad to the green because of the plate that divides the two pads, which is great. So far I really like these pads and highly recommend them.

I don't think there's many detailing shops selling these around here, that's mainly why people buy from autopia, detailed image etc.

Purchased and received my UDM a few days ago. I'll be trying it out today (with 'regular' pads). Detailing a 2k2 Toyota Highlander. One of my regular clients.

Wow! I love the UDM. Lots more rotational power than the PC. Great machine. Got the new switch update. I don't really care about the mod for the Edge system...I've got a ton of single sided pads.
Hector and Ty - you HAVE to get this machine!

I got my new switch and owners manual within a few days of registering my machine. If it's been longer than that for you, email David or Lynn at Autopia.
