Okay. The 97 Max SE I purchased was not taken care of by its previous owner. It has the light gray leather interior and carpet. The leather seats are filthy as is the carpet. It has black spots and coffee stains, etc all over it.

Does anyone know of a good leather cleaner that will get the dirt and grime off the leather seats as well as a good shampoo or something for the carpet?

You can use spot remover for the carpet, Dave has used it and does some good work. I forgot the brand. For the leather, I have used the Meguiar's 2 step cleaning stuff. The fisrt step gets rid of dirt, but also has aloe vera. it's a clear bottle with blue-ish gel. This stuff will get rid of lots of dirt, almost dries the leather because it's strong, but apply the second bottle makes it normal. the 2nd bottle is conditioner, it's also clear, but has a creamy inside gel. Works for me.

Thanks Hector. I'll try the Meguiar's two step stuff and see how it works on the seats. I'll just look for some spot remover stuff and try it. I haven't had anytime to do anything to the 97 since I bought it.

Thank you as well Dave. I'm going to try and pick up some supplies this weekend, time permitting of course.

While this site might be kinda biased, it convinced me to go with Lexol products to clean / condition my new (junkyard) leather seats. They definitely look and feel 1000x better. With the conditioner, I could just tell the leather was soaking it up and would have thanked me if it could. Good stuff.
