took my dads LS460, drove up, told them i wanna test drive the new g manual, guy throws me the keys and tells me to take my time and enjoy it:)
msrp 39,XXX with no navi, navi ads another 2200
overall, i liked it, but i still think the C6 will be a better choice:)

Honestly, I would take the G37s over a base C6... The new G37 is fawking sex on wheels. Wish I could get a chance to drive one.

yeah it is sexy with real nice lines
i am aiming for a C6 with Z51 package, slighlty preowned
spending 43k out the door on the G just is hard to bite, especially since i have to tilt my seat back gangster style or tilt my head to the side so my head doesnt hit the headliner

Pros
-Quality (leather, silver stitching, aluminum pieces)
-Engine (pulled nicely from 6K+)
-Exhaust Sound (who really care though)
-Great lines, nice wheels and brakes
-Comfortable and good handling
Cons
-Price
-Rear head/leg room
-Front head room (in gregs case, i fit though :) )
Thats all i can think of, overall i like the car, the price is something i cant get over.

Drove a C6, it didn't impress me.
Middle age crisis vehicle for me ? No thanks. I will probably always be stuck to some low income bracket vehicle, like a Maxima.
There are cars out there that I automatically WANT as soon as I get done driving em.
Corvette is not one of them. I rather drive a 91 NSX than a 08 C6. Because 10 years from now, my NSX will still be worth more than that 08 C6.
Don't belive me, check out the prices on some of the NSXs. Its not always about speed...... consider NSX came out in 1990, and its taken Chevy THIS long to make a car that can "hang" with a 18 year old car on a road course.

Greg this would be the best bang for the buck.......11K vs 40K :ninja:

I still think you should get the C6. What do you want out of the car though?
You looking for a cruiser with a little power for around town? Or is this something that you want to track once in a while?

power, comfort (aka somethin i can fit my self in without touching the roof)
so far C6 is still in the lead, makes most sense
-it has the power( and more power can be unleashed)
-proven drive train
-it looks are just panty droppin
-yeah it might be a midlife crisis looking car but that is the whole point, no one my age has one:), and i just dont fit the evo/sti image

Also a good choice. There are very few exhaust notes out there that can match the sound of an 03-04 cobra. Its just music.
