I love my 06 Maxima

I know most of you out there hate my 6th gen but I love it..
It is fast 265HP V6.. It feels great and it does the job and more..
Sure there are some problems but Nissan has been cool with me so far ....
So what is so bad about my car?

i will... looks like a space ship and a cow mixed together.... and is about as fast as my 4th gen ....if you think that car is fast then uv never driven a "fast" car :bolt:

well, lets see....the stock tires crack...literally they crack in pieces, everything is expensive maintenace wise for the car, the timing chain, and guides fall apart at like 60k, sometimes before that, power output is not all that great, since the car is really heavy, the non navi center "av" unit looks like crap with the orange colors, it has foglights, but they dont do ****, it has lower bumper turn lights.....wtf, is it a buick or what......anything else????

dont foget the stock blubs inthe foglights burn out all the time

I just bought a 07 maxima and i seem to love it and enjoy driving it more than my 03

i like the rear of the car but not the front.

physically the doesn't appeal to me too much. I much more rather have a altima 3.5, or a 5th gen if i was going to stay with nissan.

I can see why people like it. You gotta factor every car has its little quirks, some more then others. Some affect driving and others don't. As long as the car starts up and drives nicely then its on the plus side. Yea 3.5 have a small history of drinking oil, but aleast its not pissing it out like other cars.

Radio is like that for a lot of cars... Panasonic makes VW headunits for the most part and they go out just as much. Pulling the fuse and reinstalling it gets it done for another period but that isn't going to be a fix, I assume it might be on the nissans as well. fog lights and other light complaints are personal issues one owner will have that many other people DONT EVEN notice.

VQ30 was done right and so i do feel that VQ35 should have something to it...
You gotta have other perspectives, Mike loves his b13's but not those have issues as well. 5th gear pop out, rust at the doors mainly. But there was very few electronics back then to moniter stuff. CEL could only be triggered by like 20 items. Now a days CEL turns on due to bad gaskets in the fuel cap or not fully tighten it.
