I was driving the car today when I noticed the brakes weren't as strong....I looked under the car and saw some brake fluid on the ground....Looks to be a brake line is busted right below the drivers side seat. Anyone know for sure that this is the brake line? Brian, do you have this part available for my 93 SE? Also is this an easy fix? Anyone out there who can replace this, let me know how much you want. Need this done ASAP
Thanks

Paul, I called autozone and they told me I need to take it out first and bring it in so they can give me the right brake line (based on size). Is it easy to remove this and install the new one? Just need to fix this one to get the car running as the new owner may pick up the car soon.

you get the whole line for about $60 at the dealer. if you try any other way you are opening yourself up to a liability issue if the line should ever fail and cause an accident.

You positive its NOT the master cylinder ? My 91 had a leaking MC which got replaced before I took possession of it.
The reason they want you to take out the line and bring it in- they will give you a long straight piece of brake line. That you have to bend yourself in order to install it. Nissan will sell you one that is PRE-BENT for you for your car.

well it's leaking right out of a line under the drivers seat.....How would I test if its the maser cylinder.
btw, is this hard to bend and install? Btw, i added fluid and whenever i brake now, it all rushed out of the line under the seat.
Also, Paul, whenever you have the chance, can you PM or call me for the price of this product from the dealer. It's a 93 maxima se NON ABS

your dad came by and bought the brake line and some compression unions. Guess he fixed it already?
