you are supposed to take the fuel rail out and push them out form the bottom...

the fuel rail is out..... I bought the fuel rail and injectors a few months ago to replace my current ones, but these injectors seem to be in bad shape, so I'm gunna send them to get clean and remanufactured at http://www.deatschwerks.com/

Well make sure you have extra injector O-rings. I guarantee theyll be screwed up, and if you dont replace, theyll spray fuel all over the place. happened to me.

Removing injectors is very easy to do without damaging them at all if you know the trick.
it will be a little bit harder to do with the fuel rail removed from the car, just secure the rail with a clamp so it won't move around.
Remove the two screws and caps holding the injector in place. Put the screws back in about half way. On each side of the injector there is a small rectangle notch. Those are there for a reason. Using two small flat head screw drivers in each notch and the screws as a leverage point, pry up on the injector firmly from both sides. The injector should pop righ out. It takes just the right amout of force to get the injector out with out damaging the notches, but after one or two you will get the hang of it.
Also, before doing this procedure soak the injector with WD40 or PB blaster and rotate the injector in the fuel rail several time. This will help break the seal before removing.
WHAT YOU DON'T WANT TO DO IS USE VICE GRIPS OR PLYERS ON THE TOP OF THE INJECTOR.

WHAT YOU DON'T WANT TO DO IS USE VICE GRIPS OR PLYERS ON THE TOP OF THE INJECTOR.lol I broke like half of the red plastic top doing it this way a few months ago (bought a set of used injectors, did this on a fucked up one out of the 6 I had)
What worked for me was to twist the injector clockwise and then counter clockwise with a vise grip or wrench (probably messes up the o-rings but you should use new ones anyways) and then pulling it out

it keeps rotating clockwise and counterclockwise but it didnt wanna come out for me before...
I've been soaking the injectors in WD40 for quite a bit now, so when I get home I hope it works, so I can send them out to get cleaned.

ok , I tried Mike's method, holy shit, I should get shot in the foot for being so stupid....lol
It worked like a MFing charm!!!!!!!
but i still have that first injector which the pliers "ate" some of it....hehe, its not too bad though....
thanks mike
Does http://www.deatschwerks.com/ give me new O-rings, or do I have to go buy some?
Where is the best place to get some?
Well. after reading "Replace o-rings, filters, and seals" I'm assuming....

Glad you got it worked out. For O rings go to Murrays or your local Nissan dealer. They're cheap too.

We will buy stock injectors which don't have damaged bodies for $10-$12 each, if you want to get rid of them.

ok, now the fuel rail is a bit dirty, like in the cups where the injectors are seated,,, can i just use WD40 to clean them out? or is there a better alternative?

should I use WD-40 or PB blaster to clean the fuel rail? (Its for a spare one I have in my room)
Now, I'm supposed to receive my cleaned and tested injectors back from DeatschWerks on Monday. I want to replace the front 3 right away, hoping my horrible bucking at idle will go away....
How do I approach this?
probably take out fuel pump fuse then crank car few times
or do it first thing in the morning?
then proceed with replacement, correct?
or is there a better or different or safer way?
Holla back

I gotta replace my injectors too - I think a rear one for me is causing the prob =(
First unscrew the gas cap and then screw it back on. Then take out the fuel pump fuse and crank it a few times

alright guys.. i just got dont replacing all my injector..
what you need to do is pull the fuel pump fuse when the car is running... then wait till it stalls and stops..
to remove the injectors in the front, CAREFULLY remove the injectors with a flat screw driver by Carefully prying behind the injector where the connector fits... be carefull cuz gas will squirt out.. then MAKE sure you have new pintle caps on the tips of the injectors.. you cant reuse the old ones... if you dont have the pintle caps you will get a misfire!!!! when you want to reinstal the new injectors smear some oil on the o ring... and you should be good.. if you guys have questions pm me.. iv replaced these injectors like 10 times already...
questions pm me....

I got my injectors back today, and I'm about to do the front ones.
Are the injectors numbered or something so they match a specific cylinder number or what?
can I just randomly pick one and replace?
Thanks

they're all the same. Please keep all your injector business in one thread, you have at least 3 already about these damn things.

dude.......i was working on the 3.5 swap and then i saw the clouds coming so i decided to clean up. Right after i finished it started to rain like crazy. Then i decided to go to mcdonalds. On the way it started to hail like a mofo...people were driving like crazy trying to find somewhere/something to hide under....crazy shit.
Is this how the O rings are supposed to be placed? Or does the green O have to be right next to the cap.

It's supposed to be right above the pintle cap. The pintle cap's job is to hold the o ring in place. so yeah.
