okay that link u sent me was alot better than what i found.
i'll give that a shot.
thanks.
i'm suspecting idle adjustment cause after you drien for a while you put her in park and sometimes she idles fine.
and most of the time go down to 500rpms and struggle then shoot upto 1200rpms then idle normal, this happens over and over.
when in drive it idles at 500rpms.
and sometimes it idles the normal idle.
but when it does idle crappy i use the a/c but if it's cold out the ecu won't raise up the idle.
oh and on the highway (has'nt done it in a while)
if you let go of the gas the rpms will bouce back and forth...

UPDATE:
i did what the link showed and no go.
the trottle response is better.
and come to find out the tps sensor has also been replaced.
but then i reread the post. nothing on where the idle screw is located.

You can find all the answers including where the idle screw is.

that doesn't sound like an issue that will truly be fixed by tinkering with the idle.
take a look at your CTS the connector may be corroded and that has been known to cause the hunting idle.

i checked that, when my fans stay on and the car becomes hard to start i check and clean it.

if you have had it happen once already then you need a new one.

i only cleaned the harness not the connector.
i think i found it,
i still googled but nothing on the ve.
there was one on a 95 240sx.
the iac vavle looked like ours and there was a screw.
and then there was another saying to adjust it by useing the t/b stop screw?

FSM says to NEVER touch the throttle stopper screw under any circumstance.
Has it ever hit you to get a FSM ?

i do have one.
i did'nt touch it.
in fact when i read that i thought to my self what an a$$!
i looked in my fsm and it shows a knob type screw sticking out of something.
but what i'm seeing does'nt seem like whats in the picture.

thanks.
okay there's two tubes one facing the cooling fans (pcv tube) and one facing the firewall( intake tube).
and in that picture where the screw is i'm assuming is the one where it SITS IN!
if so thas pretty bogus.lol.

never mind i found it.
and i think i'm gonna have to replace it.
the screw is rusted and i tried to turn it.
and tap it with a hammer to loosen the rust up...but no go.
so i'll keep using the a/c till then.
