The future is here and it is slow... Time to make those smog checks into full on searches for vehicle alterations - "Yeah, your CO output is fine, but you have illegal software loaded onto the ECU. The cops will be here in ten mintues and make your check for $1000 to 'Secretary of State'."

and it will send an email to nissan telling them you are tracking your sports car which is better then porsche to void ur warranty

I suppose the only thing the warranty would cover would be body rust - everything else, from diffs to half shafts would get trashed...

i know **** breaks, but on this car its not supposed to....so there is no need for warranty....other than interior rattles or plastic parts fading.

from what i read, porsches rattle all the time, so who really cares, these cars are really stiff, stuff will start to get loose

I'm sorry, but I rather have the REAL race car for the street. New GT-R doesn't do JACK for me. Even the interior on the GT-R looks cheap and cheezy .

Who buys a A/T tranny sports car ? I want a clutch.

^My thoughts exactly, automatic FTL, huge turnoff. On the other hand, the skyline will be the best bang for the buck, with the ghey floppy paddle slushbox. :007:
BTW, audi R8 interior FTW!

On the topic of Manual vs DSG/SMG/ETC, i love the fact that Best Motoring tested the new EVO with the SST vs the 5spd manual, and the manual won by over a second on the 6lap race.

yeah, thats true....but for example....the porche is quicker with the paddle shift than the manual trans. in 0-60mph and in the quarter mile. take it that its only by a few tenths, but thats more than enough to win.

Good thing the GTR doesn't have one.

TT 911 is faster because it holds onto boost between shifts. But around the race track 6MT will be faster.
I'm a huge Porsche fan, if it wasn't for the fact that I need a car to go through snow I would be in this black on black 01 Carrera 6MT right now. I looked at a few already. Maintenance is not a huge deal on them, they are actually pretty reliable cars.

So that would be a transaxle, like Corvettes/Porsches?
Not a fluid but a solid converter... Looks like a clutch pack from a motorcycle inside a typical fluid converter housing.
