new rates for speeding tickets?

Yesturday my co-worker informed me that there are new rates for tickets. Now minimum will be 225$ starting Jan 1 2008. Damn that stupid war is getting everywhere.

Wow that is insane. I pray that is only a rumour but I couldn't afford another speeding ticket as it is so I am taking it easy no matter what the fine.
