Here are some issues im having with my '92. Hopefully someobody can help.
1. Keyless entry pad is worn on driver side and passenger side will not work if gets too wet, or too cold/wet.
2. How can I bypass the alarm system/keyless entry and use a convential key for the door and trunk? I only have the ignitions key which wont open the door or trunk.
3. Do nissan alternators have a rep for bad voltage regulators? My battery light on the dash is on after putting on a new alternator. My test meter at the battery shows 14 volts while running and also running with all the accessories on too. I've been told its a bad voltate regulator.
4. Clock and climate control lights seem dim at times.
5. Power door locks stopped working. Any clues?
Thanks.

how do i replace the keypads? Where can I get a replacement keypad set?
Is there anything special about the key and lock system? The key does not open the doors nor trunk.
What boards need to be soldered and where are the located?
Thanks!

anyone here that can help me with soldering my boards for the electrical issues? And anyone know where I can get a keypad and even get my key to work? It does not work in the doors or trunk.
Thanks!

Yo, the keypads I can probably get you for a good price and can help you install em for another good price, when I say good price it doesnt mean I'm gonna rip you off. I've done mine before and they're not hard.
For your power door locks, assuming it IS your door lock timer with bad point solder points, I can also get a resoldered DLT for a good price.
I'm guessing you have a valet key which only works for the ign and door. If you're lucky the dealership can get you the right key but if they cant then you probably have to go to a locksmith and yes I also know one that has good prices.
As for clock, who needs a clock when you can have GPS

thanks for the offer. I have both keys, the stock one and the valet key too. Please send me a email to karlj1974@msn.com with a quote for the keypad install, solder work and dlt.
Thanks.
