1) Bypass lets you use the navigation features etc while the car is in drive.

2)I'm pretty sure it will only let you place/receive calls from the D3
4) Back up camera
6) Maybe not the best, but for the price/value, yes.

Without that rebate, you'll make up for that difference in the accessories - the D3X comes with the iPod hookup and bluetooth unit. More info on the rebate?

I was under the impression that you couldn't listen to a cd AND have nav at the same time. This is why I just got a Magellan 4250 for $350 from Costco. It's ****ing awesome. I totally wanted to have something integrated, but the fiance said to go pick this one up for my birthday and I love that I can take it in more than one car and has voice recognition. The integrated bluetooth is nice as well.

Not a big Pioneer fan ! I will stick to my old Alpine IVA-W200 which I also got Navi hooked up to and BlueTooth.
Not a fan of the Pioneer NAV software, its very confusing compared to the very simple Alpine. Most car manufacturers use Alpine for Navi anyways.... I stick to the brand that works.
I have had GREAT luck with Pioneer home theather stuff, not so much car stuff.

I'm seriously thinking bout picking that up for my .:R. I told myself the stock HU will stay, but I'm begining to hate all that clutter in the car with my Harman Kardon setup PLUS XM on the dash. I like the integrated look, I'm afraid so will the thieves too :(
