Does anyone have experience installing angel eyes on the 2002-2003 headlights? I have a set of E46 angel eyes that I want to install.

I'm not going to dis you on them. I just wish you would learn more about your car, and do some of the work yourself. Nothing wrong with help, but you mostly have people do things for you.......

You can actually use the same stuff that the car has on it. To make sure it sticks you can use some silicone like for windows just enough to seal what you think you missed. It better to let it heat enough for the silicone on the headlight to be pliable.

I know plenty about what you have done to your car though. I also see threads in which you post. I don't look for them, they're just there........

You can just use the same glue thats with the car I didnt add more glue to mine just heat them up again and be sure to clamp them down when you reseal them to get them to shut close.

And the glue that was left held just fine again? Also how did you reheat it? With a heat gun?

200-215 degrees. 10 minute is the magic mark... keep an eye open after 10 minutes. Sometimes they do need more time.

I rather be conservative with it. i heard of people on the org melting the backing.

I put them in a glass piece of tuper wear with a towel underneath them. I think you gotta arrange the oven so that they sit in the middle, you know adjust the racks and everything. It took me like 15 minutes at 215 but i stared at them the hole time lol. I used my maglight from my mag mod lol

lol. Opening headlights is no problem. I did them for Bigg's 02 and my old Honda at 200 degrees for 10 minutes. They will not melt.

One of my friends did it at 350 degrees and it melted within 5 mins. lol

How do you reheat it after you install the LED rings? Heat gun? Or do you just reheat the back side of the unit and then then close it?

The same way you took them apart is the same way you put them back on.

That is not what I asked. You can't put the unit with the led rings on, in the oven again to get the adhesive pliable again, can you? What you suggested earlier was to use the same stuff already on the headlight and fill in empty spots right? Question is, how do you get it pliable again?

the answer to both is yes. Re-heat them a lil to make it pliable, and then put together...then heat some more so it bonds well. I have done it, and haven't had any condensation form inside afterwards.

Thanks. It can't be more difficult then removing your needles on the gauge cluster. That was a pain.
