make a story short.
today my box (2 speakers) stopped working. It has power, all fuses OK, amp does not show any errors, double checked all connections. I didnt play loud so i dont think that i burned both speakers.
Any ideas?

just came back from my car and found out that fuse in my amp was blown. replaced with new one 20A and that b.... blow out in my hand (radio off). after that disconnected battery and put another fuse, hooked up battery and see that big ass spark. and what? another fuse is blown. WTF??!! checked all connections and did not see any shorts. Now I have no idea what to do with it!!

could be a bad ground touching on the car some where.

get a volt meter and check the positive to ground... (with the positive disconnected fromt eh battery) obviously you have a short.
also unplug the speakers and then put the fuse in and see if it blows...
trace that bitch down.

Here is a circuit how it is connected. i dont think its wrong beacuse it worked for almost 2 years.

your amp is the problem if fuse blows even when nothing is connected.... all new amps have protection for short, it just goes into safety when something not right this time the fuse blows, has to be something internal

noo, i will get rid of that sub now. it takes too much space. i will get some better 6.5" speakers on back and that should be enough

could be the wire got cut somewhere like through the firewall or where you ran it, and is grounding out through that blowing the fuse. im an installer at best buy and we trouble shoot that everynow and then. did you use a grommet when you ran it through the wall?
