I blew out my amp last week, and my sub was already really old. So im going all new.

Right now, i got a med level pio HU(probably keep until i can afford a touch)
cheap walmart unamped pio 6.5's in the back(sound like crap, gonna replace)
bose in the front(they still sound great, but i kno without the high pass filter enabled they are going to blow)

This new system WILL NOT have a sub, because i want my trunk back and i don't want to loose my hearing like some of my friends w/crazy systems.

It's gonna be amped all around 80watts x4...cheap profile amp off crutuchfield.
For the front, it's gonna be components, but im not positive what to buy...looking to spend under 170$. For the back i want some really bass heave 2 wayz...i mean really bass heavy because they have to make up for no sub.

also, im gonna dynamat everything

there is no way you will get bass from 6.5" 2 ways.... 90Hz will be the lowest they will be able to do @ 1/4 of their rated power

Im not looking to have the same base i had before...just something that can come close to those low frequencies. like i said, i want to keep my hearing....im more of a mid range person myself. so speaker quality from the front components is a bigger deal for me. has anyone dealt with mb quart refrence or discuss line?? any suggestions for websites with reviews on these rare speakers like mb quart, BA, and rainbow?

Higher frequencies make people deaf, not bass.

BTW MB Quarts, and Rainbow are amongst the best brands you can buy. They are only rare because they are more expensive, and more people buy stuff over the counter in general. That's all I know about those brands. I've heard Rainbows and they were crystal clear.

Hey Henryk, I have a 96 Nissan Maxima, and I just notice that some white unclear spots have start to build up on my deck lid and top of car, you wouldn't happen to know what that **** is by chance...? Maybe you'd be able to look at it for me and see what you think, turlte wax says I need a new paint job, but the thing is that I recently used a Clay bar liquid made by Turtle wax and it started to turn this spotty white color stuff, and the three step turtle wax stuff.

Bostons for front and back, they have a good deep bass and good all around pitch... I have a set in the back, and I couldnt be more happy with them
