i don't think they are permanent... they are randomly set-up usually later at night...

I hear the checkpoint is by 90 and Harlem. I haven't seen one either yet.

the checkpoints are randomly positioned on harlem. between irving park rd and I-90. they do it about 3 times a week. usually wed, fri and saturday. they catch alot of drunks and people without insurace those days.

oh and you cant try to run from them either they have cops positioned in all side streets and shit, they go crazy.

Depends what time.. I was heading home after hanging out with John and his girl, think it was 3am or so when I dropped off a friend. I remember sitting in Denny's with my friends seeing tow trucks pass by with cars lol.

wow, bad idea. you will get burned for this one. not only is this a dumb comment to make, its also that there are police officers and undercover people looking at the forums and searching for people like you.

keep it at the track and make the bets there. we all live around the same area and i dont feel like getting killed by you or your friends fucking around and racing.

Not quite....the joke would have been more effective if he said something along the lines of racing Yugo's. Hybrids now a days seem more plausible. The mention of Honda too, just makes it worse, because most Maxima owners believe that having a Nissan is 10x better than a Honda. Face it people it's not better, just different. Racing is fun, but not on the streets, if you want to do it, I can't stop it. All I can say is good luck, because if you get busted you will be reamed in the ass. Hopefully it's just that, and slamming into someone.

in plainfield they were doing it around this industrial park off of 55 and weber, but stopped that one b/c cops started showing up. about 3 weeks back cops and blocked off the roads, giving everybody there, racers and watchers, multiple tickets.

Where exactly is six corners in lemont? I've seen so many street racing type cars here that it's insane. I've seen a nice dark red 1994+ supra, spooling in the parking lot of jewel on state st. and 127th. Also some srt-4's, M3's, 3000gt's, eclipses, and some others. I know that back in downers grove street racing meets are by the white castle on 75th and lemont rd. At about midnight I see them all split. Just never followed to see where...
