Speaker wires:
Crutchfield has 14 gauge speaker wire for $0.99 / foot.
Would 14 gauge be good enough for the speakers?
RCAs:
Crutchfield also has the StreetWires 4-Channel Patch Cables for like $40. Those cables are 16.4 feet but unfortunately they are out of stock on those. The cool thing about those RCA cables is that they are bound together which means that you only need to run one set of RCA cables instead of two sets.

Anyone have any better advise on speaker wire and rca cables?
:naughty:

no, they're not.
I've got some oldschool monster cable that I use in my home "system" it's not oxidized at all, which is more than I can say for the RCA shit I bought quite a few years later.
how long of cables do you need?
I have several cables that I've pulled out of assorted cars that I've sold

I need 2 sets of RCAs.
I already have a MONSTER RCA cable for my sub.
Then I need speaker cable for tweeters and speakers.

some people really feel a difference with monster cable, some people say it's crap. I personally just buy any thick rca cables with gold coating.

FYI Menards does sell good stuff like Monster Cable and Phillips cables, I was there few weeks ago picking up some cables for my HDTV setup I have and picked up a few component video cables made by Phillips for less than shorter cables I would buy at Best Buy. 3 Phillips for the price of 1 Monsters...
They also had normal RCA type audio cables and speaker wires, see what they got, its cheaper than going to a electronics store.
