New Server - Scheduled Server Maintenance 11/22-11/23

Good afternoon ladies and gents,

Just want to inform the members (and guests) that CMC will be moving to its new server!
During the course of this week we will be running certain tests on the new server and slowly start changing the domains over. I'm hoping to get the new server up and running by end of Friday night, so in the end we just wait for the domain names to transfer over during the weekend.

So don't be alarmed if you cannot access the site on 11/22 - 11/23.

We're hoping for a smooth transfer, if all else fails, we'll try to get back online ASAP with the current server until matters are resolved.

Cliff notes:

On 11/22/2008-11/23/2008 (Saturday to end of Sunday) the site will begin undergo a move to the new server.

Any questions/concerns please feel free to send me a PM.

To prevent from losing any new threads, I will be disabling the forum late Friday night. So we can transfer to new server. Or depending when Steven is able to get us the latest SQL DB before early morning Saturday.

However, chicagomaximaclub.net/com and chicagonissanclub.com will re-direct you to the same site.

Well, today has been a rough day for CNC/CMC. And a long one for me, multi-tasking ;)

Earlier today the server went down, so me and hector exchanged some ideas and decided to proceed with the server move earlier than planned. All the tests ran fine, seems the only real pain was the domain fowarding with all 4 domains pointing to www.chicagonissanclub.net. For some reason godaddy would divert back to it's original settings, d'oh.

But long story short, I think I got everything up and running, so please report any problems in the designated area.
