hey guys as the title states. the local acura forum and some of my brothers friends are going karting on the 14th. im just letting you guys know whats up
its going to be on december 14th at 11am.
ive never been to this place, but its supposed to be better than chicago indoor racing. its cheaper, you race for longer stretches, the track is more advanced, oh, did i mention its cheaper and you dont have to buy that stupid permit thing that chicagoindoor gets you for.
anyway, if anyone wants to join, you have to time and the place. here is the website. www.mpgrandprix.com

You do have to buy a "permit" except they call it a license. Some of us were there for maxus and it was pretty cool... I'd def do it again. As long as I got money in my pocket by then; I'll be there

I can open up my own go-kart course for that much...shiet
For those who've been at Chicago Indoor Racing, is it any better than the Grand Prix go karting place in Melrose?

ive never been to the place in melrose park, but i think its going to be much better than Chicagoindoorracing. less packed and more time on the cars sounds like fun to me.
I guess Chicago Indoor Racing opened another one in Addison not to long ago. I have yet to check out Addison location, but my guess its pretty much the same.

damn, guys....this place is baller.
100 times better than chicago indoor.
the track is bigger alot bigger.(like both of chicago's tracks put together)
you race for longer periods
its alot cheaper
the karts are quicker/less restrictive
overall it was a blast. cost was $55 for registration (first time only), race permit and 5 races.....shit was cheap....and we raced for a total of like two hours. didnt have to wait for people, it wasnt as packed, they have alot more shit to offer in the BAR area. cant wait to go again.

^^^yeah, thats cool. a group of over 10 people has i think 10 bux off per person. its really cool and if you get there early on a sunday...11am(when they open) its basically empty and your the only one on the track.
Yup that place is hecka fun. And the owner is cool as well. Man $55 bucks for 5 races. Last time I was there was for Maxus this past June and we got 3 runs for $45.

yeah, 3 races for $45 and then since we bought out two more races, which are $10 each, with a bigger group they gave us $10 bux off per person. so it actually turned out to be an additional $5 per extra race.
damn i just missed this.... we need another one! lol

You didn't really miss anything. It was open to everyone but it was mainly passed on from the TL forums. Nothing wrong with that but only 1 person from here went because his bro has a TL. We will def have one. This is just 1 of many things to do in the year to come. If you like you can set it up. There's no designated person for meets. Anyone can sert anything up at any given time. Just that the person who brings it to light better be ready to organize the event.
