Looks like a lot of fun. I went to one of the Nasa meetings a few years back and from the sounds of it I want to be a member. I keep telling myself I should join but with the schedule they have and loctions are just to far for me to attend these events. One of these days I will.

If you decide you want to attend of the events in 2009, LMK.. I can print out a coupon for you to get your membership fee refunded after you attend your 1st event.

Its something any NASA Member can do to help recruit new members (so if you know someone else in NASA, you can ask him or her to print out the coupon as well).

The way it works is you pay the $45 membership fee and sign up for one fo the events. Meanwhile a current member prints out this 'free 1st year membership coupon' and fills out their name and membership number on it. The 'NOOB' takes that coupon with them to the 1st event they attend and put in their info (name and member number) and turn it in at the event to the event master and then you get a refund for the $45 within the next week or 2 (refund on credit card if you paid w/CC or check issued if you paid with check).

Then you save $45 the 1st year and get grassroots motorsports magazine for a year as well.

The only 'catch' is you can't get the refund until/unless you attend an event (they want more people to join up is all)
